We’re musicians who want to get our music to people anyway possible. Whether it’s by selling downloads, getting songs in films, tv shows, and video games, or playing live performances.
At first, we didn’t really want to start a record label. There was just too much to it for us. We needed enough time and enough soul to write, record, and perform music. Running a record label could suck us dry.
Then we thought, “Let’s start small. Let’s start digital.” Our marketing and interactive backgrounds meshed with a new wave of the music industry. No one knows exactly how to define this wave as it’s constantly changing, but with our traditional and new media backgrounds, we knew we’d know what we were doing in creating an online presence and delivering music.
For now, we’re putting our foot into the ocean and doing our best to offer music that is of the utmost highest quality (production and taste), make it easy to get and share the music, and to not put as many restrictions on the ownership of the music as a lot of traditional (and even new “digital labels”) are imposing.

Magma Music is a small record label and publishing company located in Cambridge, MA founded by Andy Milk. This site showcases the label's artists and approach to producing and promoting records, booking tours, and all sorts of other tasks related to marketing independent music.
